The GC Digital Fellows program goes back more than a decade. During these many years, dozens of fellows have authored hundreds of blog posts discussing digital tools and chasing new ideas in the field of digital scholarship. We are now celebrating our rich library of posts with a new Throwback Thursday series, where we highlight some of our favorite posts. The first post we would like to showcase is Dr. Laura Kane’s post “Illuminating the Challenges of Web Design” which was published in January, 2014. Here, Laura draws parallels between assembling complicated furniture and designing a website on WordPress to show that even if something appears to be easy at first glance, “design know-how takes considerable practice.”
