Announcing “Digital Dissertations Resources”

The GC Digital Fellows are happy to announce a new resource for students who are interested in creating a digital dissertation (and the committee members and academic departments who support them). The Digital Dissertations hub on this website now has sections for defining digital dissertations, evaluating them, and reflecting about the process of producing digital scholarship as part of the dissertation experience.

Go to "Resources" in the navigation bar. Then roll over "Digital Dissertations" to see the subcategories in this section.

This new space on the Digital Fellows website is located under “Resources” on the navigation bar.

  • The Support section offers links to resources at The Graduate Center.
  • For information on assessment of digital scholarship, see the Evaluation Guidelines page.
  • Dissertation Events are featured in a list of upcoming and recent events on topics that may be of interest to digital dissertation researchers. (Including a #remixthediss event this Friday, October 10 at the GC).
  • Dissertation Reflections are posts and links to conversations and essays on the processes involved in creating digital dissertation projects.
  • Related Issues are topics such as Open Access and embargoes, for people interested in the ways dissertation practices have changed in recent years.

We will continue to add content and features in this section throughout the year. Please email us at gc.digitalfellows {AT} gmail.com to offer feedback or to make suggestions of what kind of information would help you.
