WordPress Workshop: March 6

Want to create a website to showcase your academic work? Organizing a conference and need an accompanying website? Interested in starting your own blog? WordPress allows you to do all this and more with ease. Join Stephen Klein, GC Digital Services Librarian, for a hands-on introduction to the blog and website platform WordPress, Thursday March 6 at noon. *Please bring your own computer to the workshop (PC preferred)*

During the 60 minute session, Stephen will go over:

*         How to setup a (1 click) development environment

*         Easy database creation

*         Easy WordPress installation

*         Selecting a theme

*         WordPress settings

*         Plugins and other options
