The Introduction to R course for the GC DRI.
The GC Digital Research Institute (GC DRI) is an online training course for learning core digital research skills while connecting with peers in an interdisciplinary environment. It combines training in areas such as R, Python, command line, and data ethics, among others, with specialized short workshops and professional development sessions. Participants will share their academic goals, collaborate as they learn, and explore a variety of digital methods to employ in their research.
GC DRI Workshop Series is free and open to all members of the Graduate Center community.
GC DRI began in 2016 as part of the CUNY Strategic Investment Initiative and developed in partnership with Software Carpentry, the New York Public Library, Mozilla Science Lab, Humanities Intensive Learning and Teaching, and the Digital Humanities Summer Institute.
