These workshops will go beyond introducing you to software and websites; we’ll be suggesting new, digital solutions to ongoing research problems. Social Media and Academia: Creating Digital Research Communities

This workshop will introduce various aspects of social media as solutions or initiatives for creating communities around research.  We’ll explore how to use the CUNY Commons, WordPress, and Twitter to find and create online research communities across CUNY and other universities.  The workshop will be hosted by Andrew G. McKinney and Laura Kane.
