Instructor: Laura Norén is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at New York University doing research at the intersection of technologies for creative work and small group collaborations. She is also a graphic designer and critic, writing the blog Graphic Sociology at The Society Pages, a paradigm-challenging collection of blogs hosted jointly by W. W. Norton and the University of Minnesota Department of Sociology. Her presentations and graphic design work have been featured in The Atlantic, on FlowingData, The Dish by Andrew Sullivan, Huffington Post, and used internally by members of the federal government.
