Automated Behavior Detection From Log Files: A Workshop on Educational Data Mining Research

Speaker: Ryan Baker, Teacher’s College
Synopsis: Professor Baker will explore how data mining methods can be used in educational research. Using examples from his own research, Dr. Baker will show how data mining has been used to detect different student behaviors. This workshop will also show how data mining can be a predictive and interpretative tool for social science research.
